Dewey Meadows Farm is dedicated to excellence - we have carefully
selected our breeding stock from several different importations,
traveling to Peru in 1995 in search of herdsires.

Peruvian herd - Bolivian herd -
Chilean herd - and select "crosses" of each.
At Dewey Meadows we are known for our particular attention
to strong, correct conformation which is confirmed by consistent
blue ribbon winners in the show ring. We also select & breed
for superior fiber in a collection of vibrant colors.

On our farm we take pride in maintaining the highest standards
of cleanliness in our facilities and we keep organized, up-to-date
health & breeding records. All of our alpacas are bloodtyped
to verify parentage; registered with ARI; vaccinated and wormed
on schedule; and all breeding stock is guaranteed reproductively
sound.

Dewey Meadows Farm established in 1969 is a 200 acre farm located
in upstate New York. In addition to alpacas it is home to a herd
of Miniature Mediterranean Donkeys since 1980--specializing in
correctly conformed, pedigreed, drafty type donkeys (many in
the popular black color)
